The Opportunity


The Vice President High Net Worth sales is responsible for increasing the deposit portfolio and investment portfolios of our high-net-worth division (Premier) profitably, by acquiring more clients and customers as well as expanding existing relationships. This mission is highly dependent on the ability to identifying new lead sources, structure to scale our sales processes, optimize our value proposition and product mix, and expand existing relationships.This role combines strong sales and financial acumen process improvement experience, and an ability to get things done. This individual is seen as a business leader, responsible for inspiring, managing and growing the sales teams, from monitoring lead pipeline, conversion rates and contact strategies, managing expenses.This leader will make data driven business decisions that demonstrate a high level of accountability in a rapidly changing business environment, ensuring the service levels and operational outputs exceeds our customer's expectations. To be successful in this role, the candidate must demonstrate strong strategic vision, sales acumen, collaboration, and leadership skills. 


The Role


Creates and drives the strategic High Net Worth division of the Consumer Deposits group to ensure its efficiencies and capability to carry out business initiatives


Grow the deposit portfolio and investment portfolio from these divisions while ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately, and strategic goals are met in accordance with established metrics and business plans


Develops and implements continuous improvement and near time sales processes


Drives change and innovation within the Consumer Deposit and Axos Invest processes by championing performance and efficiencies


Provide engaged leadership, including coaching and development, hiring, setting, and monitoring of annual performance goals; drive and foster organization-wide performance standards, expectations, and practices to support ongoing team member and process development


Are You A Fit?


5+ years' sales management in the financial services industry


Proven history of turning businesses around and achieving goals under time constraints.


Proven track record in effective leadership and increasing sales processes, from sourcing new leads, optimizing value proposition to converting leads into clients and customers


Experience with staff performance evaluations and knowledge of customer service metrics


Experience managing both inbound and outbound teams


Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization, particularly data-driven.


Securities Licensed 7, 66, 26, or 24

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Onboarding, and Venture Growth teams to close on investment allocations.

  • Deep passion for and extensive knowledge of venture capital and entrepreneurship.
  • Excellent finance and accounting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and AppleMacOS preferred.

  • You have prior experience working at or with startups

Location: While our HQ is the internet, ideally this candidate is based in the East Coast time zone. Candidates should be aware that the majority of the team is based in the NYC and Miami areas and that the workday is scheduled around the East Coast time zone.
