Friends of Strays has joined forces with the St. Petersburg Free Clinic, Meals on Wheels, and Daystar Life Center for our Community Pet Food Pantry. The Friends of Strays’ Pet Food Pantry has been providing under-resourced households with free cat and dog food since 2015.
In the past, the program has allowed for community members to come to the shelter during open hours to collect food for their pets. The pet food pantry provides pet food to the pets of low-income residents and community cat caregivers. Please note that we rely on donations to fill orders, which means our food levels vary.
