Panic at the disco girls girls boys -

Girls/Girls/Boys

I don't wanna hear you've got a boyfriend
Sometimes you're better off alone
But if you change your mind, you know where I am
But if you change your mind, you know where to find me
'Cause I don't ever wanna be your boyfriend

And never did I think that
I would be caught in the way you got me
Push another girl aside and just give in

Girls love girls and boys
(Sophisticated, manipulated)
Girls love girls and boys
(Sophisticated, manipulated)

And never did I think that
I would be caught in the way you got me
But girls love girls and boys
And love is not a choice

Pose, you've gotta save your reputation
They're close to finding out about your girlfriend
But if you change your mind, you know where I am
But if you change your mind, you know where to find me
'Cause I don't wanna save your reputation

And never did I think that
I would be caught in the way you got me
Push another girl aside and just give in

Hayley Kiyoko Joins Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie For ‘Girls/Girls/Boys’

We stan queer icons supporting queer icons. Hayley Kiyoko is currently supporting Panic! at the Disco on their tour, but because of “border/production delays,” fans had to miss out on Kiyoko’s opening set in Toronto Sunday night.

Instead, lead singer Brendon Urie invited Kiyoko on stage to help him sing “Girls/Girls/Boys,” the 2013 Panic! song that gained popularity from the fact that Urie is nude in the (must watch) music video.

Kiyoko posted on Instagram about the experience, along with a clip of her singing the song live with Urie on stage while they were both draped in rainbow flags. There is probably no one better suited to sing the lyrics “Girls love girls and boys,” and it’s just as cute as it sounds.

Kiyoko is a notable lesbian pop star and icon. She recently made headlines for her reaction to Rita Ora’s “Girls,” and if you haven’t seen older lesbians react to her music videos, you need to get on that. Brendon Urie himself recently came out as pansexual so that stage really couldn’t get any gayer.

“I cannot tell you how incredible this man is,” Kiyoko wrote on Instagram. “Not only is his voice a gift but his KINDNESS and ability to make people feel warm and special is just beyond. Thank you Brendon for giving me something to aspire to and be. And supporting me as if we are family. I’ll never forget last night.”

"Hallelujah"
"Girls/Girls/Boys" was released on October 7, 2013, written by Brendon Urieand Dallon Weekes. This song is their third single and sixth track from their fourth studio album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!.

The song was started by Dallon Weekes, who had showed the band a bass line he created, which was rejected by Urie and Smith as they didn't know where it would fit on the album. Because of this, Weekes decided the best thing was to start penning lyrics around the bass lines. Brendon Urie would write most of the lyrics, basing it on his first threesome that he experienced.

This song has made many fans question his true sexuality for years until in an interview with Paper Magazine, he officially came out to the public as pansexual in the summer of 2018. [1]

Music video

The official music video was uploaded onto youtube on October 7th, 2013 by Fueled by Ramen, boasting over 78.5 million views as of October 2019.

The music video released on the same day (October 8th, 2013) featured Brendon Urie, the lead singer of the band Panic! At The Disco, singing without a shirt on and seemingly no pants. However in an interview, Brendon Urie stated that he was wearing pants but they were only up high enough to cover any obscene parts.

A director’s cut of the music video was released on July 28, 2014, and featured girls surrounding Brendon.

Girls / Girls / Boys

2013 single by Panic! at the Disco

"Girls / Girls / Boys" is a song by American rock band Panic! at the Disco. It was released as the third single from their fourth studio album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, on October 7, 2013. The music video for the song, directed by DJay Brawner, was also released on the day after. It peaked at number 31 on the BillboardHot Rock Songs chart. It was also the final single released while drummer Spencer Smith was part of the band.

Writing and composition[edit]

The lyrics have been described as "racy",[3][4] as the song depicts a love triangle complicated by differing sexual orientations,[5] and is also derived from Urie's previous experiences with homosexuality and bisexuality.[6] In a 2018 interview with Paper, Urie stated the song was a recollection of his first threesome experience.[7]

The bass line of "Girls / Girls / Boys" is performed by Weekes,[8] who was compared to Duran Duran bassist, John Taylor.[9]

In an interview with Bass Player in December 2013, Weekes commented on the song's bass line.

"I wrote that on my own, and nobody really wanted to use it for the album. I was actually going to give it to a friend of mine in the band Neon Trees to use. But as we moved on with the writing, I tried to figure out what it was that I liked so much about the song, and I realized it was the bass line. So I took that from it, and we ended up writing a totally different song around it."[8]

Music video[edit]

The music video for "Girls / Girls / Boys" was directed by DJay Brawner and released the day after the single.[10] The video was compared to the music video of D'Angelo's, "Untitled (How Does It Feel)",[3] which Urie cited as an inspiration to the video.[4] The video uses the same black background as Untitled, and is also done in a single shot, pulling back to show a nude Urie, and stopping just before showing the pubic region; there has been a rumour that he was wearing very low pants.[11] A director's cut of the music video was released on July 28, 2014. The version is identical to the original, except it includes two women kissing each other and heavily touching Urie near the end of the video.[12][13]

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
I don't wanna hear you got a boyfriend
Sometimes, you're better off alone
But if you change your mind you know where I am
Yeah if you change your mind you know where to find me
'Cause I don't wanna ever be your boyfriend

[Pre-chorus]
And never did I think that I
Would be caught in the way you got me
Push another girl aside and just give in

[Chorus]
Girls love girls and boys (Sophisticated, manipulated)
Girls love girls and boys (Sophisticated, manipulated)
And never did I think that I
Would be caught in the way you got me
But girls love girls and boys
And love is not a choice

[Verse 2]
Pose, you've got to save your reputation
They're close to finding out about your girlfriend
But if you change your mind you know where I am
Yeah if you change your mind you know where to find me
'Cause I don't wanna save your reputation

[Pre-chorus]
And never did I think that I
Would be caught in the way you got me
Push another girl aside and just give in

[Chorus]
Girls love girls and boys (sophisticated, manipulated)
Girls love girls and boys (sophisticated, manipulated)
And never did I think that I
Would be caught in the way you got me
But girls love girls and boys
And love is not a choice

[Bridge]
I am just a villain vying for attention from a girl
A girl who can't decide and here's the reason why
Girls love girls and boys
Girls love girls and boys

[Chorus]
Girls love girls and boys
Girls love girls and boys
And never did I think that I
Would be caught in the way you got me
But girls love girls and boys
And love is not a choice.

The are banks open tomorrow in georgia have been described as "racy",[3][4] as the song depicts a love triangle complicated by differing sexual orientations,[5] and is also derived from Urie's previous experiences with homosexuality and bisexuality.[6] In a 2018 interview with Paper, Urie stated the song was a recollection of his first threesome experience.[7]

I was actually going to give it panic at the disco girls girls boys a friend of mine in the band Neon Trees to use. But as we moved on with the writing, I tried to figure out what it was that I liked so much about the song, and I realized it was the bass line. So I took panic at the disco girls girls boys from it, and we ended up writing a totally different song around it."[8]
