Cursive Text Generator (𝓬𝓸𝓹𝔂 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓹𝓪𝓼𝓽𝓮)

This is a simple online tool that converts regular text into cursive letter symbols. The conversion is done in real-time and in your browser using JavaScript. I also made another translator which converts your text into all sorts of fancy styles: "fancy text generator". And another one that generates italic text.

You'd be forgiven for thinking that this translator converts text into a different font - that's not what's happening here. So how does it work? Unicode.

Unicode Symbols

This translator is essentially generating unicode cursive/script symbols which resemble letters from the latin alphabet (a, b, c. .). Unicode is an international standard for symbols in computer-related industries. It supersedes "ASCII" and actually contains all the ASCII symbols within it's specification. There are literally tens of thousands of different symbols defined by Unicode compared to 256 characters defined by the extended ASCII set. On top of this, unicode allows us to add diacritic marks which agument our characters and allow us to produce weird stuff like this:

By the way, the above text is called "Zalgo text", and I also made a zalgo translator which you can use to generate that type of text.

So yeah, the unicode standard is awesome, and it allows us to have all sorts of fun with text.

Copy and Paste

I said earlier that this translator isn't simple generating the same text with a different font, it's actually generating different text symbols winchester cooperative bank winchester ma the unicode spec. This has the awesome benefit that we can copy and paste symbols wherever we want (you couldn't do this if it were just a font). You might have found this generator after you noticed someone's social media profile or post had some italic or cursive text in it. Rest assured, it's not some unusual feature that they've found - they've simply harnessed the power of unicode!

Cursive letter symbols are great for making your message on social media stand out. Just look at the difference between:

> Look at my post!

> 𝓛𝓸𝓸𝓴 𝓪𝓽 𝓶𝔂 𝓹𝓸𝓼𝓽!

Since social media sites don't generally allow fonts, it gives the user a huge surprise when they see something new like that. So whether you want to paste cursive text in your Tumblr blogs, Facebook statuses, Twitter profiles or tweets, instagram descriptions or wherever, this translator should hopefully be handy for that.

If there's anything at all I can do to improve this text to cursive generator, please let me know! Meanwhile, feel free to post a comment below with your new-found cursive super powers :)

So if you've ever wondered how to write in cursive in your Instagram bio, or in Facebook or Twitter posts, then I hope this generator has come in handy!

Altering Cursive Capitals in Handwriting

The cursive lessons on this web page practice the capital letters that can be altered to connect with the cursive m letter.

With the exception of the letters, P, V, W, and X, capital letters can be written so that the pencil does not have to be lifted to write the pnc financial services group pittsburgh letter in a word. The letters, F, H, and K require a pencil lift, but those letters can connect to the next letter. I suppose the uppercase letter X could connect, but I do not plan to make a worksheet for uppercase X for this set. Some letters are not altered much at all and others require minor loops or dips. Pictured below are examples of altering the capital letter F.

Cursive Z Letters

Example Featuring the Letter F

F unaltered unaltered

F - with a altered for a high connect

F connected with e altered for a low connect

The alterations to the capital letter F consist of looping the top instead of lifting the pencil to draw the letter in two steps. The bottom of the letter is dipped back to connect with the next letter in the word. In the examples, F is connected with a and e. Each one is slightly different to connect either high or low. Other low connections would be the vowels u and i. The letter o would be a high connection.
